Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking an experienced researcher to conceptualize, design, and execute complex laboratory experiments in molecular and cellular biology. You will train junior staff and collaborate with the principal investigator on data analysis, grants, and manuscripts for publication.

You will also help manage grant budgets, purchasing, and ensure lab safety and compliance while maintaining daily operations and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in an appropriate biological/health science or equivalent experience required.
• 3 years of relevant experience with Bachelor's, or 1 year with Master's.
• Doctoral degree in an appropriate biological/health science field is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Designs, executes complex laboratory experiments.
• Performs advanced molecular and cellular techniques (Western blots, ELISAs, coagulation assays, confocal imaging).
• Trains and oversees methodologies conducted by junior lab members.
• Analyzes literature and collaborates on data analysis, grants, and manuscripts.
• Manages lab operations, procurement, and equipment maintenance.
