Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD in Materials Science and Engineering or equivalent research experience.
• Experience managing and operating key lab infrastructures for material research (property measurement, thin-film, synthesis, printing equipment).
• Proven supervision of HDR students at Master and PhD levels.
• Commitment to staying up-to-date with discipline developments.
• Strong communication and networking skills across diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Engage in individual and/or collaborative research.
• Create scholarly impact recognised by peers.
• Work under limited supervision or in teams.
• Develop a personal research portfolio and proposals.
• Contribute to competitive grant applications and collaborations.
• Design research projects and supervise HDR students.
