Job summary

Stanford University Medical Center's Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery is seeking an experienced Research Administrator 3 to support post-award activities for a large, diverse portfolio spanning federal and non-federal grants, industry contracts, and gifts.

The RA3 will lead fiscal reporting, forecasting, sub-award management, and compliance, while mentoring staff and guiding process improvements in a hybrid work environment on the Stanford campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and five years of job-related experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.
• Experience with post-award administration and grants management preferred.
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Review expenditures and advise on post-award spending and compliance.
• Develop reports on project status; create forecasts and decision aids.
