Michigan State University in Grand Rapids seeks a Senior Research Administrator to provide independent, complex professional support to the Administrative Core of a new NIH U54 consortium grant, including support for the Career Enhancement Core and Clinical Research Project 2, reporting to the MSU-PI/PD.

The role spans Research Administration Services, Pre Award, Post Award Administration, and Research Compliance and Training, coordinating meetings with Corewell Health and Johns Hopkins, and

Qualificações

• Four-year college degree in Business administration, Finance, or a research-related field.
• Five to eight years of related and progressively more responsible work experience in research administration including pre or post award processes.
• Essentials of Research Administration at MSU Certificate or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Supports the Administrative Core (AC), Career Enhancement Core (CEC) and Clinical Research Project 2 (CRP2) within the NIH U54 consortium grant.
• Coordinates meetings with subcontract sites and NIH networks, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
• Prepares and submits annual NIH progress reports and monitors research budgets and financials.
• Assists with regulatory submissions and maintains compliance across research activities.
• Monitors facilities, supplies, and research records; coordinates audits and final reports.
• Guides other research personnel on regulatory and reporting requirements and provides training as needed.

Formação académica

Bachelor's degree in Business administration, Finance, or a research-related field
