Job summary

Peraton seeks a Requirements Engineer in Chantilly, VA, to elicit and document operational technology needs for a classified program. You will coordinate with mission partners and stakeholders to ensure clear, testable requirements and user stories across multiple products.

You will oversee both functional and non-functional requirements, participate in design reviews, and support evidence-based decisions with senior government officials. A TS/SCI with poly clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years with BS/BA; minimum 10 years with MS/MA; minimum 7 years with Ph.D.
• Clearance: TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph
• Experience in systems engineering lifecycle

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, and document system requirements with stakeholders.
• Review and verify requirements for multiple products and life cycles.
• Create testable user stories and completion criteria.
• Interact with design engineers to ensure traceability of requirements.
• Produce papers and findings for senior government officials.
• Attend product demos and support meetings.
