Job summary

Axiom Space in Webster, Texas, is seeking a resilient Requirements Management Engineer to own and maintain system, subsystem, and component requirements for complex programs related to Axiom Station. This on-site role demands who can manage traceability, interfaces, and compliance across the lifecycle.

You will work with system and subsystem engineers, program office staff, and external customers, applying MBSE methods (SysML) and tools like Jama, DOORS, or Innoslate to keep requirements aligned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (aerospace, electrical, mechanical, or related).
• 10+ years of System Engineering and Integration experience.
• Experience authoring and managing software/system requirements (functional, performance, safety, interface).
• Proficiency with Jama Connect, DOORS, or Innoslate.
• MBSE experience using SysML in a MBSE tool (Cameo, Rhapsody, Innoslate).
• Experience with Agile or hybrid Agile/waterfall programs.
• INCOSE ASEP or CSEP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end ownership of system, subsystem, and component requirements.
• Develop, communicate, and maintain requirements across the architecture.
• Coordinate formal requirements reviews and approvals per processes.
• Maintain bidirectional traceability across lifecycle stages.
• Collaborate with system/subsystem engineers, program office, and external customers.
