Job summary

Axiom Space is seeking a bold and dynamic Requirements Management Engineer to own and maintain system, subsystem, and component requirements for projects related to Axiom Station. This onsite role is based in Webster, Texas, and demands high accountability and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s in engineering and 10+ years in systems engineering, with proficiency in Jama/DOORS/Innoslate, MBSE, and Agile/hybrid environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering (aerospace, electrical, mechanical, or related).
• 10+ years of experience in System Engineering and Integration.
• Experience authoring and managing software/system requirements (functional, performance, safety, interface).
• Proficiency with at least one requirements management tool (e.g., Jama, DOORS, or Innoslate).
• Track record in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
• Problem-solving with sound judgment and delivery focus.
• Strong organizational skills to meet deadlines with quality.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end requirements management for complex systems.
• Define and maintain requirements architecture and organization.
• Solicit requirements from stakeholders, contracts, standards, and more.
• Develop, communicate, and maintain system-level requirements.
• Ensure traceability across lifecycle stages and manage changes.
