The Opportunity

The Senior Reports Analyst serves as a key technical and analytical contributor within Fund Management, supporting regulatory communications, fund reporting, cost allocation, and operational reporting processes. This role develops, maintains, and enhances Access, Excel, SQL, and enterprise reporting solutions while advancing workflow modernization through automation, data quality improvements, and AI-enabled efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage cost allocation processes for internal and external expenses, including process optimization and automation initiatives.
  • Develop complex reports and analytics by integrating data from multiple enterprise systems and business sources.
  • Design, maintain, and enhance Access, Excel, SQL, and other reporting solutions to improve data integrity and operational efficiency.
  • Serve as a technical subject matter expert for reporting applications, regulatory communication systems, and related tools.
  • Support system testing, quality assurance, validation, and production deployment of enhancements.
  • Coordinate regulatory reporting and communications while driving process improvements, cost savings, and AI-enabled automation opportunities.
Required Qualifications
  • Strong analytical, organizational, data management, and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to design, develop, implement, and maintain reporting solutions that support business objectives.
  • Experience with relational databases and reporting tools, including DB2, SQL Server, Microsoft Access, Excel, and SQL.
  • Strong technical proficiency in Excel VBA, VBA, Python, GitHub, GitHub Copilot, and related automation or development tools.
  • Working knowledge of AI-enabled tools, with the ability to identify practical opportunities to improve workflow efficiency, reporting quality, and process automation.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5 to 7 years of experience, preferably within financial services.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; preferred fields include MIS, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or Finance.
  • Knowledge of variable annuities, life insurance, fund management, or financial services operations.
  • Experience with enterprise and AI-enabled tools such as PeopleSoft, Oracle, Ariba, or Claude.
  • Strong understanding of technology systems, reporting processes, data controls, and business reporting.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
Location Expectation

Location Expectation: This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in office.

The expected salary range for this position is $74,500 - $99,300. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
