The Position

FanDuel Sports Network is seeking a dynamic Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to work in the Financial Reporting group. Reporting to the Senior Director, Accounting, this position will work extensively with members of the Finance and Accounting groups to fulfill the requirements for the monthly, quarterly, and annual external reporting. A successful candidate will be able to work independently, resourceful, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

The Game Plan (What you'll do)
  • Assist in all aspects of the company’s financial reporting process, including but not limited to compiling and analyzing financial results and preparation of quarter-end workpapers.
  • Assist in the preparation of materials for various league (NBA/NHL/MLB) reporting.
  • Assist in various ad-hoc reporting for other 3rd party stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure consistency among financial and statistical information.
  • Assist in the maintenance and compliance of proper documentation surrounding the internal controls over financial reporting of the company.
  • Assist in the coordination of the annual audit with external auditors.
The Stats (What to bring)
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field required; bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred.
  • CPA preferred.
  • 2+ years of accounting experience and familiarity with financial reporting, SEC reporting, and public company experience.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to multi-task with attention to detail, accuracy, and excellent follow-up.
  • Solid understanding of general ledger systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently following prescribed schedules and be resourceful.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the aptitude to communicate with all levels of management.

The company is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The compensation range for this position is $80K - $95K, determined by relevant experience, skills, certifications, and location.
