Argus is seeking a Senior Reporter to join its Freight team in New York City or Houston.
Through advanced subject-matter expertise and experience, you will cover the crude tanker market as well as be familiar with other freight markets, like petroleum products, gas and dry bulk.
You will help set direction for team coverage, act as a mentor to less-experienced colleagues, and help the editor with end-of-day tasks. You will collaborate with colleagues on other teams and in other regions and functions.
You will cover your market through daily price assessments, writing interesting, analytical market commentaries, news coverage and in-depth analysis toappearonline and in theArgus Freightreports. You will also be responsible for maintaining and expanding the contact base, driving methodology and coverage development and attending industry events.
The global freight market is in a state of constant change in its position at the centre of international trade, geopolitics and environmental regulation.
