Job summary

Astronics AES in Redmond, WA is seeking a Sr. Repair Station Assembler to perform advanced soldering and rework, supporting development and production for Flight Critical products.

This weekend shift (Fri-Sun, 5:30 am–6:00 pm) offers 36 hours paid for 40, with on-the-job training on first shift before moving to weekend shift.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and 3+ years of direct experience; salary range is $24.52–$36.79 per hour with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years direct experience related to essential functions.
• Proven soldering and rework skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Performs advanced assembly and rework including wire splicing, crimping, and leaded/lead-free soldering.
• Works with complex assemblies, including high power and flight-critical products.
• May train others and assist with NPI/Engineering projects.
• Setups and adjustments while holding tolerances to drawings and schematics.
• Interact with engineering and manufacturing personnel as needed.
