Job summary

Selene Finance LP is seeking an REO Asset Manager to oversee a portfolio of Real Estate Owned assets across the disposition lifecycle, with emphasis on maximizing investor returns, minimizing carrying costs, and ensuring compliance.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external vendors, review appraisals and market data, monitor timelines, and drive asset strategies from acquisition to sale while adhering to investor requirements and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of REO Asset Management, Default Servicing, Loss Mitigation, or Mortgage Servicing experience.
• Strong knowledge of REO disposition processes, investor requirements, property valuation methodologies, and default servicing operations.
• Proven ability to manage multiple assets, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Asset & Portfolio Management: Manage the disposition of a portfolio of REO assets from acquisition through final sale.
• Develop and execute asset-specific strategies designed to maximize recovery and minimize expenses.
• Review appraisals, BPOs, and market data to establish asset valuations and disposition strategies.
• Monitor market conditions and asset performance to make informed recommendations regarding pricing, marketing, and disposition activities.
• Ensure all assets are managed in compliance with investor, company, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain ownership of assigned assets and drive resolutions within established service level expectations.
