Penske is seeking a Senior Rental Representative to manage front-line customer interactions, match vehicle demand with availability, and coordinate all aspects of customer accounts at our Auburn, ME location. You will handle rentals, payments, and inquiries while maintaining a high standard of customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Work involves strong telephone and interpersonal skills, driving Penske vehicles, and adhering to DOT requirements.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Sales experience preferred (retail, consumer, B2B).
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Some college or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Ability to work at least one weekend day.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Compute charges for merchandise or services and receive payments.
• Prepare merchandise for display or rental.
• Advise on products and services and discuss options.
• Answer phones to provide information and take orders.
• Greet customers and discuss rental needs.
