Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation is seeking an experienced Rental HVAC Service Technician to join our field service team in Richardson, TX. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of commercial HVAC systems, from air handlers to boilers, while delivering professional customer service.

This role requires 3+ years of HVAC experience, EPA Type 4 certification, and the ability to travel up to 50%. You will document field reports, operate equipment and forklifts, and promote Carrier products

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• EPA Type 4 - Universal Certification.
• 1+ year hands-on experience with HVAC systems.
• 3+ years of Commercial HVAC experience.
• Must lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to obtain Forklift Certification.
• Travel up to 50% of the time.
• Experience with Windows OS, MS Outlook, Internet Explorer.

Responsibilities

• Independently diagnose and repair HVAC equipment and components.
• Maintain accurate field service reports and logs.
• Operate equipment vehicles and forklifts.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Communicate professionally with coworkers, subcontractors, and customers.
• Promote Carrier products and services to customers.
• Assist in orienting, training, and checking of work.
• Adhere to EHS protocol at all times.
• Start-ups and teardowns.
