Job summary

Main Street Renewal is seeking a Renovation Superintendent to lead home rehab projects across our metro properties. You’ll conduct inspections, plan repairs, and manage vendor work to MS Renewal standards, while maintaining schedules and budgets.

The role requires hands-on maintenance, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Travel to properties and reporting to the Branch Manager are essential components.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential renovation/maintenance experience or related field preferred
• Knowledge of building and property management codes
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
• Service-minded approach to all aspects of the job

Responsibilities

• Conduct Move-out and Turnover Inspections accurately and within time frames, identifying repairs to MS Renewal standards
• Develop a budget based on inspections and MS Renewal pricing
• Proficient in technology to manage jobs from start to finish
• Schedule and oversee renovation activities, including vendor relations
• Hold vendors and contractors accountable for quality and timely work
• Review vendor workmanship and close contracts upon completion
• Perform repairs and rekeying and other maintenance on properties
• Document rehab process with before/after photos
• Manage quality control review and punch list for renovations
• Make contractor termination recommendations when needed
• Travel to properties around the metro area
