DESRI seeks a renewables EPC attorney to join its legal team. You will draft and negotiate LNTPs, pre-construction and EPC contracts, and lien waivers for wind, solar, and storage projects, working with Development, Construction, and Procurement teams to align with project goals.

You’ll counsel on warranty, tariffs, trade, and regulatory matters, addressing complex supply-chain issues and changes in law while coordinating with senior management to support timely project delivery.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree with strong academic and professional achievement.
• At least five years of legal experience.
• Experience in renewable energy or solar projects is preferred.
• Meticulous organization and communication skills.
• Knowledge of domestic content bonus credit and prevailing wage is preferred.
• Experience with LNTP, pre-construction agreements, lien waivers, and construction contracting.

Responsabilités

• Draft and negotiate LNTP agreements, pre-construction agreements, EPC contracts, lien waivers, and other construction-related documents for solar and energy storage projects.
• Advise internal teams on commercial and legal issues, including warranty, delivery, tariffs, trade, and regulatory matters.
• Serve as primary legal contact for a defined set of projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior management to align with project timelines.
