Job summary

RWE Americas, LLC is seeking a Sr. Procurement Manager to lead day-to-day sourcing and purchasing for Grid, H2 and renewables projects. The role requires negotiating with Tier 1 suppliers, designing strategies for large-scale programs, and guiding internal teams on contracts and risk.

Office-based with travel across locations. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 7 years in procurement, plus strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as commercial lead on complex, high-value procurement packages.
• Design strategies balancing price, risk, and delivery for large-scale projects.
• Lead negotiations with Tier 1 suppliers on multimillion-dollar agreements.
• Prepare advanced bid analyses ensuring cost/technical risk alignment.
• Draft award recommendation documents for executive approval.
• Advise internal stakeholders on contracts and market trends.
• Manage contract execution and administration for critical-path agreements.
• Identify procurement risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Serve as escalation point for supplier disputes with Legal and project teams.
• Forecast procurement timelines and supplier capacity for project pipelines.
• Monitor EPC market trends and supplier performance.
