BCG Attorney Search in San Diego, CA is seeking a Senior Energy Transactions Attorney with at least ten years of experience to join their energy development practice group. The role focuses on managing complex renewable energy transactions, including project development, EPC, supply, and O&M agreements.

The candidate will lead negotiation and drafting, coordinate due diligence for financings and purchases, advise on international trade restraints, and mentor junior lawyers.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of renewable energy project development transactions.
• Experience negotiating and drafting development agreements.
• Experience due diligence of project-related documents.
• Advising on international trade restraints in renewables.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Engagement in business development and professional organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiation and drafting of EPC, BOP, equipment supply, O&M, and LTSA agreements.
• Manage the full life cycle of development and construction transactions.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary due diligence for financings and purchase/sale transactions.
• Advise on international trade restraints affecting procurement.
• Collaborate with clients to craft practical solutions and mentor junior lawyers.
