Job summary

NextEra Energy Resources seeks a Senior Business Manager to oversee the performance of a portfolio of operating assets with full P&L accountability for 15-20 wind, solar, and battery projects. You will develop commercial strategies, manage PPAs, financing, and regulatory requirements, and lead repowering and recontracting initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in business, finance, engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in energy finance, asset management, or similar roles.
• Experience managing PPAs, regulatory compliance, and commercial strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own major workstreams across the region, including asset repowering and recontracting plans.
• Prepare analysis, reporting, and scorecards to track value creation and performance against plan.
• Maintain close working relationships with partners, customers, and stakeholders.
• Negotiate and resolve disputes related to PPAs and other stakeholder contracts.
• Develop and refine market and regulatory strategies to improve asset performance.
• Lead or participate in special projects across Business Management, including process improvement opportunities.
• Create executive-level presentations for senior management.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
