Job summary

NextEra Energy is seeking a Senior Business Manager to drive performance for a portfolio of wind, solar, and battery assets in the region. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage P&L, and shape commercial strategies including repowering and recontracting initiatives.

The role emphasizes stakeholder management, analytical rigor, and strategic project leadership to optimize asset value and support growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and financial planning abilities.
• Experience with power marketing, PPAs, and regulatory considerations.
• Ability to manage and optimize a portfolio of operating assets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own major workstreams across the region for asset performance.
• Prepare analysis, reporting, and scorecards to track value vs. plan.
• Maintain relationships with partners, customers, and stakeholders.
• Negotiate PPAs and resolve related disputes.
• Refine market and regulatory strategies to improve asset performance.
• Lead special projects and present executive-level updates.
