Job summary

NextEra Energy Resources, LLC is seeking a Principal Financial Analyst to support the Asset Onboarding portfolio and drive financial discipline across the project lifecycle. You will partner with Development, Engineering & Construction, Treasury, FP&A, and Operations to influence decisions and deliver value.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Business
6+ years of experience in finance
Master’s degree or CPA/CFA preferred

Responsibilities

Prepares and analyzes monthly forecasts, including evaluation of assumptions
Prepares timely internal and external operating reports and other reporting as required
Develops and maintains complex financial models for financings and partnerships
Provides high-quality analytics and variance commentary on actual vs forecasted financials
Prepares ad hoc analyses and scenario/impact analyses for potential transactions
Prepares presentations for lenders/investors
Participates in special projects such as software implementations and process improvement
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
