Job summary

NextEra Energy Resources is seeking a Principal Financial Analyst to join the Asset Onboarding (AOB) team and drive forecasting, analysis, reporting and cash management for a rapidly growing renewable energy portfolio. You will partner with Development, Engineering & Construction, Treasury, FP&A, and Operations to guide financial decisions and support project lifecycle execution.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting / Finance / Business.
Experience: 4+ years.

Responsibilities

Prepares and analyzes monthly forecasts, including evaluation of assumptions.
Prepares internal and external operating reports and other reporting per financing/partnership agreements.
Develops and maintains complex financial models for financings and partnerships.
Provides high-quality analytics and variance commentary on actual vs forecasted results.
Produces ad hoc analyses, reports and models (scenario/impact analyses).
Prepares presentations for third-party lenders/investors.
Participates in special projects like software implementations and Six Sigma initiatives.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
