ENGIE North America Inc. seeks a Senior Asset Management Analyst to own a portfolio of utility-scale wind, solar and storage assets.

You will drive commercial, operational, and financial performance across life cycles, coordinating with cross-functional teams to optimize value and meet strategic goals. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, 5+ years in asset management or energy markets, and a drive to advance renewable energy growth in North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, finance, economics, or related field required.
• Minimum five years in asset management, energy markets, renewables, or related field.
• Knowledge of NA energy markets, ISO/RTO operations, and market protocols.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary Asset Manager for portfolio of utility-scale generation and storage assets.
• Own asset-level financial performance including P&L, forecasting, and planning.
• Collaborate with ENGIE Trading, Energy Management to set market participation strategies.
• Manage complex commercial agreements (PPAs, AMAs, O&M, landowner contracts).
• Provide leadership on ISO market protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Deliver timely monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reporting.
• Lead asset transitions from acquisitions to operations and handoffs.

What You Can Expect

ENGIE's Asset Management team oversees a portfolio of more than 11 GW of utility-scale wind, solar, and battery storage assets across key North American power markets, including ERCOT, SPP, PJM, MISO, and Canada. As the portfolio continues to expand by more than 1 GW annually, the team is supporting growth into new markets and emerging technologies.

As a Senior Asset Management Analyst, you will take ownership of a portfolio of renewable energy assets, maximizing performance and long-term value throughout the asset lifecycle. You'll collaborate across commercial, operational, engineering, finance, and market-facing teams to execute asset strategies, evaluate optimization opportunities, monitor financial performance, manage contractual obligations, and support key stakeholder relationships. This role offers broad exposure to the commercial and operational aspects of renewable energy assets, with the opportunity to influence asset performance and portfolio growth.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as the primary Asset Manager for a portfolio of utility-scale generation and energy storage assets, maximizing commercial, operational, and financial performance
• Own asset-level financial performance, including P&L oversight, forecasting, annual business planning, gross margin assumptions, and value optimization initiatives
• Partner with ENGIE Trading and Energy Management teams to establish risk mandates, support market participation strategies, and identify opportunities to enhance asset value
• Manage and administer complex commercial agreements, including Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), Operations & Maintenance Agreements, Asset Management Agreements, equipment supply and service agreements, and landowner and stakeholder contracts
• Provide leadership on ISO market protocols, regulatory requirements, and market fundamentals, engaging subject matter experts as needed
• Deliver accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual operational and financial reporting to internal stakeholders and partnership teams
• Lead asset transitions associated with acquisitions, commissioning activities, and operational handoffs, ensuring contract execution, compliance readiness, and alignment with applicable incentive programs
• Partner across Operations, Finance, Legal, Trading, Power Marketing, and Engineering teams to identify opportunities, enhance asset performance, and advance strategic business objectives

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• MBA, advanced degree, or relevant professional certification is considered an asset to the role, not a requirement
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in asset management, energy markets, power generation, renewables, or a related field
• Knowledge of North American energy market structures, ISO/RTO operations, and market protocols
• Commercial acumen with an understanding of business principles, contractual obligations, and stakeholder management, including experience with power purchase agreements (PPAs), operating agreements, and related commercial contracts
• Project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, coordinate stakeholders, and drive process improvements across multiple disciplines
• Demonstrated analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial or operational analysis
• Passion for advancing renewable energy and supporting the continued growth of clean energy solutions across North America
• This role is eligible for our hybrid in-office work policy and is not eligible for remote working
• Must be available to travel domestically up to 25% of the time and with the need for some overnight trips
• Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies

Compensation

Salary Range: $77,100 - $118,220 USD annually

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate. ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
