Job summary

EDP Renewables North America is seeking an Asset Management Senior Associate in New York. You will oversee commercial oversight for operating assets (800-2000 MW) and ensure all obligations are met while planning budgets and building market knowledge.

You will manage relationships with turbine OEMs and O&M providers and implement the operations strategy across projects. You will lead cross-functional teams, perform budget analyses, track milestones, and support performance management initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficient knowledge of MS Office and database management.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project profit & loss (P&L) activities for assigned assets, identify gaps and provide recommendations to address.
• Support the development of project-level annual budgets and creation of longer-term business plans in collaboration with other Asset Operations groups.
• Performs budget analyses (variance and reforecast) for assets; update financial estimates with Operations and Finance.
• Facilitate Service Agreements and support contract execution with Procurement and Legal.
• Interface with Operations, Performance Management, OEMs, and service providers to improve performance and reduce risk.
• Lead cross-functional teams to resolve issues affecting operational projects.
• Drive portfolio-wide initiatives to improve fleet performance and track solution execution.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses of asset performance and support business case development.
