Job summary

LS Technologies is seeking a Telecommunications Project Engineer to support FAA facilities nationwide, focusing on migrating thousands of circuits to new infrastructure. The role emphasizes collaboration with FAA managers, on-site surveys, and program coordination to ensure reliable, modern telecom services.

Candidates should have extensive engineering experience in telecom infrastructure (FAA/DoD preferred) and strong skills in IP, LTE/5G, Cloud, and network security.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of engineering experience with FAA/DoD telecom infrastructure preferred.
• Experience with LTE/4G/5G, VoIP, IP, Cloud, Carrier Ethernet, Pseudowire, GPS timing.
• Experience delivering enterprise networking protocols, firewalls, edge protection, gateways, and fiber optics.
• Ability to manage large-scale telecom projects and schedules.
• Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, and project management skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Assist FAA managers in activation and migration to modern telecommunications infrastructure.
• Facilitate installation of terrestrial, wireless, and satellite telecom systems at FAA facilities.
• Occasionally conduct on-site surveys and provide on-site issue resolution.
• Manage and track large-scale telecom projects and schedules; assist in planning.
• Maintain relationships with on-site coordinators, customers, and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with FAA teams to support mission goals.
