The candidate should bring 20+ years of engineering experience in FAA/DoD environments, hands-on knowledge of LTE/4G/5G, VoIP/IP, and enterprise networking, and strong project management and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 20+ years engineering experience, FAA/DoD telecom background preferred.
• Experience with LTE/4G/5G, VoIP, IP networks, Cloud, Carrier Ethernet, GPS timing.

Responsibilities

• Assist FAA managers in activation and migration to modernized telecom infrastructure.
• Facilitate installation of terrestrial, wireless, and satellite telecom systems at FAA facilities and POPs.
• Occasionally conduct on-site surveys and resolve complex network issues.
• Manage large-scale telecom projects and schedules; assist in planning and requirements validation.
• Build and maintain relationships with on-site coordinators, customers and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with FAA groups to support mission objectives.
