Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Senior Therapy Development Specialist for the Southeast region. This remote role focuses on developing relationships with physicians and site stakeholders to meet clinical trial enrollment objectives, streamline patient screening, and support therapy development within the Structural Heart team.

You will work with the clinical study team, including the medical director and project management, to ensure enrollment targets are met and to educate site personnel on trial

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years of related work experience in field-based medical device roles.
• Sales and clinical research (field clinical affairs) experience is a significant plus.
• Familiarity with Structural Heart and cardiac catheterization.

Responsibilities

• Define strategies to drive enrollment at clinical trial sites within assigned territory.
• Establish regular touch points with site investigators and research teams.
• Develop relationships with cardiologists and surgeons.
• Gather data on patient pipeline and track enrollment progress.
• Coordinate communication to prioritize enrollment activities at sites.
• Maintain up-to-date product and clinical trial knowledge and participate in education programs.
