Job summary

Bowman Consulting seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead LiDAR and UAS initiatives in the Austin area. You will oversee projects from start to finish, manage budgets and resources, and mentor a cross-functional team.

Role emphasizes business development, client relations, and staying current with UAS regulations. Strong leadership and communication are essential for success in a dynamic, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in geomatics, surveying, engineering, or a related field.
• Ten+ years of work experience on LiDAR/UAS projects, with 5+ years in PM roles including business development.
• Strong understanding of LiDAR/UAS technologies and applications.
• Experience with LiDAR data processing software such as TerraSolid, LP360, Global Mapper.
• Familiarity with PM software (MS Project, Asana, Trello).
• Knowledge of LiDAR/UAS regulations and standards.
• UAS pilot license or certification.
• Experience in business development and sales.

Responsibilities

• Oversee LiDAR and UAS projects from initiation to completion.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk assessments.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to meet milestones.
• Ensure quality control and adherence to industry best practices.
• Support marketing and client relationship building.
