Job summary

CRB is seeking a Process Engineer III/IV/V with deep expertise in small molecule manufacturing to join our engineering consulting team. You will lead process design, scale-up, and optimization for pharmaceutical projects, ensuring regulatory alignment with cGMP and FDA requirements.

The role can be based near any CRB location, with remote option considered; mentoring junior staff, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and delivering high-quality client-focused solutions are key success

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in small molecule process engineering, client-facing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of synthesis, purification, and formulation processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and execution of process scopes for small to medium projects.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to deliverables.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory alignment.
• Develop PFDs, P&IDs, and mass/energy balances.
• Support capital project planning and vendor package management.
