Job summary

CRB is seeking a Process Engineer III/IV/V with deep expertise in small molecule manufacturing to join our engineering consulting team. You will lead process design, scale-up, optimization, and regulatory alignment for pharmaceutical projects, mentoring junior staff and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering (ABET-accredited).
• 5+ years of experience in small molecule process engineering, preferably in a consulting or client-facing role.
• Strong understanding of cGMP, FDA, EMA, and ICH guidelines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of process scopes for small to medium projects, managing scope, budget, and schedule.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to high-quality deliverables.
• Develop process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
• Translate client requirements into actionable design scope and document decisions.
• Collaborate with architecture, mechanical, electrical, and construction teams.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for clients and internal teams.
• Support capital project planning and regulatory alignment.
