Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies seeks an experienced Container Platform Engineer to design, deploy, and operate enterprise-grade Red Hat OpenShift platforms running mission-critical workloads across on-premises and cloud environments. You will own the end-to-end platform lifecycle—from provisioning and hardening to workload onboarding and ongoing operations.

Qualifications

Five or more years of experience operating container platforms in production.
At least three years on Red Hat OpenShift.
Deep knowledge of Kubernetes and OpenShift internals.
Strong Linux administration, including networking and performance tuning.
Infrastructure-as-code experience (Ansible, Terraform, or Helm).
CI/CD pipelines on OpenShift or Kubernetes (Tekton, Jenkins, Argo CD).
Scripting in Bash, Python, or Go.
Experience with monitoring, logging, and tracing tools.
Security-focused experience: image scanning and supply chain hardening.

Responsibilities

Architect, provision, and operate OpenShift clusters across environments with HA, scalability, and security.
Design multi-tenant OpenShift platforms with project isolation, RBAC, and quotas.
Automate cluster lifecycle using OpenShift installer, Argo CD, GitOps, and IaC.
Onboard development teams with self-service patterns and CI/CD integrations.
Operate OpenShift networking, including SDN/OVN-Kubernetes, ingress, routes, and firewall integration.
Manage OpenShift storage across block, file, and object with OpenShift Data Foundation.
Implement monitoring/logging/tracing with Prometheus, Grafana, EFK, Tempo; integrate SIEM/APM.
Harden platform with image scanning (Quay/Clair), secrets, and compliance.
Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Tekton, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Argo Workflows.
Develop disaster-recovery and backup strategies; plan upgrades with rollback steps.
Right-size workloads, manage quotas, and tune autoscaling for performance and cost.
Evolve tooling and developer experience; mentor junior engineers as SME.
