Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation is seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer to support core banking systems including Deposits, Loans, and General Ledger. You will work on COBOL-based mainframe environments, batch processing, and related tooling, ensuring high-quality solutions and alignment with business goals.

Formación

• 5+ years hands-on Mainframe development with COBOL, JCL, VSAM and batch processing environments.
• Experience in Core Banking applications: Deposits, Loans, Customer & Account Management, General Ledger, Tax.
• Familiarity with mainframe tools such as Endevor, Xpediter, and Easytrieve.
• Knowledge of CICS and IMS is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, enhance, test, and maintain mainframe applications for core banking operations.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into mainframe solutions.
• Develop and support batch processing jobs using COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and related tools.
• Perform code debugging, troubleshooting, defect resolution, and production support.
• Collaborate with analysts, architects, testers, and stakeholders on system enhancements.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, SIT/UAT, and deployment activities.
