Qualifications
- 5+ years hands-on mainframe development experience
- COBOL, JCL, VSAM and batch processing expertise
- Core banking experience: deposits, loans, GL, tax
- Endevor, Xpediter, Easytrieve familiarity
- CICS and IMS knowledge preferred
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, test, and maintain mainframe applications for core banking operations.
- Analyze business and technical requirements for mainframe solutions.
- Develop and support batch processing jobs using COBOL, JCL, VSAM and related tools.
- Perform code debugging, troubleshooting, defect resolution, and production support.
- Collaborate with BAs, architects, testers and stakeholders on system enhancements.
- Participate in code reviews, SIT/UAT support, and deployments.
