Job summary

Zscaler is seeking an Insider Risk Security Engineer for a remote US role within Enterprise Security reporting to the Senior Architect. You will refine playbooks, lead detection engineering, mentor junior analysts, and liaise with Legal and executive stakeholders.

You will conduct investigations using EDR/XDR, UEBA, and SIEM, manage cases end-to-end, and translate patterns into scalable, defensible processes while maintaining ownership and integrity.

Qualifications

• Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and applying AI-driven solutions.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Minimum 6+ years in insider risk, data protection, fraud investigation, or security operations.
• Experience managing and dispositioning alerts within SIEM or SOAR.
• Strong communication skills engaging Legal, business leaders and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Python or JavaScript with automation in investigative workflows.

Responsibilities

• Sharpen insider risk detection by refining rules to reduce noise and surface high-fidelity alerts.
• Conduct endpoint and user investigations using EDR/XDR, UEBA, and SIEM; manage cases end-to-end.
• Develop and iterate insider risk investigation playbooks and scalable processes.
• Serve as a key contact for Legal and executives on active investigations with evidentiary documentation.
