Job summary

Zscaler, Inc. is seeking an Insider Risk Security Engineer to join our Enterprise Security team. This remote role (US) reports to the Senior Architect and drives detection engineering, playbooks, and investigations with strong ownership and cross‑functional collaboration.

You will refine playbooks, mentor analysts, manage end‑to‑end investigations using SIEM/XDR/UEBA tools, and coordinate with HR, Legal, and executives to document evidence and outcomes with integrity.

Qualifications

• Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging AI-driven solutions.
• 6+ years in insider risk, data protection, fraud investigation, or security operations with leadership experience.
• Experience managing alerts within SIEM or SOAR platforms.
• Strong cross-functional communication with HR, Legal, leaders, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Refine insider risk detection rules to reduce noise and surface high-fidelity alerts.
• Investigate endpoints and user activity end-to-end using SIEM/XDR/UEBA tools.
• Develop and iterate insider risk playbooks; translate patterns into scalable processes.
• Act as a primary contact for HR/Legal and executives with clear evidentiary case documentation.
