Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a Patient Financial Services Billing Specialist for a remote Arizona role. You will bill and file claims, verify enrollment data, and support AR processes under the Billing Supervisor.

Ideal candidates have strong hospital billing experience from a medium to large healthcare system, with EPIC experience preferred. Must reside in the greater Phoenix metro area and be able to come into the office when necessary. Schedule is M-F, between 6:00am and 5:00pm.

Qualifications

• Strong hospital billing experience from a medium to large healthcare system.
• Experience with Medicare and Commercial billing and AR processes.
• Education aligned with medical billing and accounting; relevant certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Submit and file claims on UB and 1500 forms daily; verify beneficiary data.
• Identify recurring billing errors and communicate resolutions to supervisor.
• Process Commercial and Medicare billing and research within set timeframes.
• Maintain payer data and support internal controls for sound billing practices.
