Job summary
Shure seeks a Senior Engineer, Application Systems Development (Application Security) to design, develop, and test platform-independent GUI applications for Windows, macOS, and Linux. You will integrate with protocol stacks and embedded firmware in professional audio products and collaborate with Sales and Marketing to define use cases and tests.
This remote role reports to our Niles, IL HQ and involves cross-functional teamwork, prototyping with Angular, architecture input, and mentoring junior
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in application development with a strong portfolio.
- Hands-on expertise with Angular, TypeScript, GraphQL, RxJS, NgRx, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience with Nx monorepos, Electron, and Node.js including native addons.
- Proficient using git and tools such as Sourcetree, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, SVN.
- Experience in UI development using AngularJS/Angular materials and knowledge of GraphQL schemas, queries, mutations, subscriptions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test platform-independent GUI applications for Windows, macOS, Linux.
- Integrate GUI with wired/wireless protocol stacks and embedded firmware in audio products.
- Prototype GUI using Angular and participate in architecture and development.
