Job summary

Concertina Team Pty Ltd is seeking a Project Accountant to manage accounting operations for our construction projects. You will own project accounting, AP coordination, cash management, and job cost tracking across multiple active projects, working closely with project managers and vendors.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of construction accounting experience, proficiency with construction ERP systems such as Vista Viewpoint, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of construction accounting or construction finance experience.
• Experience supporting US-based construction projects or operations.
• Proficiency with a fully integrated ERP system (Vista Viewpoint or similar).
• Strong Excel skills and ability to analyze financial data.
• Experience with change orders and project profitability analysis preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process daily invoices and expense entries; reconcile and pay corporate cards.
• Assist with cash management including EFTs, payroll tax deposits, and wires.
• Manage subcontractor payment applications and AP across multiple projects.
• Handle job cost accounting, budget control, change orders, and profitability analysis.
• Prepare monthly projection and job cost reports; support draw requests with PMs.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure accurate billing.
