You will review exposure analyses, pricing rationales, coverage terms, and portfolio implications to ensure sound underwriting practice.

Qualifications include 8+ years in underwriting, authority-level decisioning, and CPCU or ARM preferred. This is remote, per-project work with hourly pay between $115 and $175.

Qualifications

• 8+ years underwriting commercial or specialty insurance risks.
• Authority-level experience in exposure analysis, pricing, coverage terms, and portfolio management.
• CPCU, ARM, or equivalent professional credential preferred

Responsibilities

• Evaluate complex underwriting decisions for commercial-property, casualty, professional-liability and specialty risks.
• Review exposure analysis, loss information, pricing rationale, coverage terms, and authority decisions for consistency with sound underwriting practice.
• Identify missing submissions data, concentration concerns, inadequate controls, and assumptions that materially change the risk profile.
• Explain appropriate referrals, exclusions, limits, deductibles, and portfolio considerations using clear professional reasoning.
