Jobot is seeking an experienced Remote Commercial Leasing Attorney to join its real estate practice. This fully remote role handles sophisticated leasing matters for landlords and tenants, with exposure to office and retail transactions and related addenda.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years of commercial real estate experience, strong drafting and negotiation skills, and the ability to own matters from negotiation through closing while collaborating with senior attorneys and staff.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of legal experience with substantial commercial real estate
• Strong experience with commercial office and/or retail leasing
• Experience representing both landlords and tenants
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate commercial office and retail leases and related documents
• Represent landlords and tenants in commercial leasing matters
• Draft and negotiate lease amendments, letters of intent, and related documents
• Assist with purchase and sale agreements, deeds, and financing documents
• Review and summarize due diligence materials, including leases and service contracts
• Monitor transaction contingencies and deadlines
• Prepare and review closing documentation and post-closing administration
• Work collaboratively with senior attorneys, paralegals and other staff
