Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Minimum 5 years of commercial real estate experience with focus on leasing.
• Experience drafting and negotiating retail, office, industrial, restaurant, healthcare, and specialty leases.
• Proven track record in managing national leasing operations, acquisitions and dispositions.
• Strong knowledge of financing strategies and structures for CRE transactions.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with practical legal advice.
• Exceptional negotiation and communication skills with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial leases (retail, office, industrial, restaurant, healthcare, specialty).
• Oversee national leasing operations from negotiations to lease execution.
• Provide expert counsel on CRE acquisitions and dispositions including due diligence, contracts, and closings.
• Advise on financing strategies and draft loan agreements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align transactions with objectives and risk appetite.
• Stay updated on laws and regulations impacting CRE and advise on implications.
• Represent the company in CRE disputes or litigation as needed.
