Job summary

Optum, a global health services company, seeks a Clinical Program Manager to lead a remote team of Behavioral Health Advocates delivering case management for inpatient and outpatient services across MO, WI, and KY.

Qualifications

Must possess one of the following credentials: Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist, Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Missouri-licensed Psychologist, or Missouri-licensed mental health clinician to practice at the independent level.
Missouri licensure and residency.
5+ years of Behavioral Health experience across age groups.
Experience managing people in a Behavioral Health setting and conducting staff performance reviews.
Experience with public and commercial mental health and substance abuse services delivery system.

Responsibilities

Oversee behavioral health care managers for diverse populations including adults, adolescents, children, and dual-eligible members.
Manage and be accountable to the team, set direction, resolve problems, and provide guidance.
Interface with regulators during audits and coordinate care with internal and external partners.
Interview, hire, and onboard new employees; monitor adherence to key metrics.
