Job summary

UnitedHealth Group seeks a Clinical Program Manager to oversee a remote team of Behavioral Health Advocates responsible for case management of inpatient and outpatient services across MO, WI and KY. The role includes telephonic and field work, with Missouri licensure required and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Remote work is supported under the Telecommuter Policy, with state initiatives and governance to maintain high quality care and adherence to clinical and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Missouri licensure and residency required.
• 5+ years of Behavioral Health experience across all ages.
• Experience managing people in a Behavioral Health setting and conducting staff reviews.
• Experience with Medicare/Medicaid products and regulations.
• Experience interfacing with regulators during audits.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Dedicated workspace with reliable home internet.

Responsibilities

• Oversee behavioral health care managers for diverse populations including adults, adolescents, children, and dual-eligible members.
• Manage and be accountable to team leader and Director.
• Set team direction, resolve problems, and provide guidance to team members.
• Adapt departmental plans to address business and operational challenges.
• Influence forecasting and planning activities and oversee new product implementations.
• Coordinate care with internal and external partners and interface with regulators.
• Interview, hire, and onboard new employees; monitor metrics against benchmarks.
• Support remediation action plans and cover for management as needed.
