Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of machine controls or packaging experience in heavy industrial/manufacturing industries.
• Proficiency in Allen-Bradley PLC programming software (RS Logix, Studio 5000), and Siemens SIMATIC STEP 7.
• Ability to develop a PLC program from scratch or customize based on templates.
• Experience designing controls system networks (Ethernet, ProfiNet, ControlNet, DeviceNet).
• Experience with servo systems and Fanuc robotic systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead controls engineering on projects from conception to commissioning.
• Develop PLC programs from scratch or adapt templates per customer needs.
• Design, program, and configure servo, VFD, and networked control systems.
• Provide remote troubleshooting and software updates for clients.
• Travel 25%–50% to sites as required.
