Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Sr. Controls Engineer to lead control system projects across our manufacturing facilities. You will develop, install, and commission PLC/HMI/SCADA solutions to optimize processes and productivity, while guiding junior engineers.

The role offers relocation assistance, excellent compensation up to $160,000 per year, yearly bonuses, profit sharing, and generous vacation. Open to travel up to 25% and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related field.
• Proficient in PLC programming, HMI, SCADA, and electrical controls.
• Hands-on experience with Allen Bradley PLCs, HMI development, AVEVA ArchestrA (Wonderware).
• Experience with .NET programming, SQL databases, and Ethernet/IP communication.
• Open to 25% travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop, install, and commission control systems to optimize manufacturing processes and increase productivity.
• Programming and integrating PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems for automated equipment.
• Provide Controls and Automation Systems technical support to other company locations.
• Design and selection of plant control system architecture (control panels, hardware, communication protocols, etc.).
• Providing technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
