Job summary
Top Tier Transitions LLC is seeking a Senior Downsizing & Move Specialist in Lake Zurich (Chicagoland area). This part-time role focuses on compassionate relocation, downsizing, and estate preparation for seniors, with high attention to detail, empathy, and organizational excellence.
Responsibilities include hands-on support, packing/unpacking, sorting belongings, coordinating donations, and traveling to client homes.
Qualifications
- Compassion & Patience – you treat every client with dignity and understanding
- Strong Organizational Skills to handle fast‑paced environments
- Professional communication with clients, families, and team members
- Attention to Detail when handling personal belongings
- Physical stamina to stand, navigate stairs, and lift up to 25 lbs
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on support to seniors during relocation, downsizing, estate sales, and home prep
- Deliver compassionate, high-touch service to clients navigating transitions
- Pack/unpack household items to create functional spaces
- Sort belongings into Keep/Resale/Donate/Dispose categories
- Coordinate donations to local organizations for respectful rehoming
- Travel locally to client homes across the Chicagoland area
