Job summary

POM Wonderful’s Reliability Mechanic III role oversees maintenance, tooling changes, and setup of production equipment across departments. You will install, inspect, repair and maintain electrical, plumbing, pneumatic, hydraulic, and related systems while prioritizing safety and food safety standards.

The position requires hands-on leadership, PM discipline, and the ability to teach other mechanics. Compensation ranges from $25.00 to $35.00 per hour, with final pay based on skills and experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with additional technical training.
• 5 years of maintenance operations experience, 2 years in supervisory or lead role.
• Ability to install, inspect, repair and maintain complex systems.
• Knowledge of safety programs and GMP/food-safety requirements.
• Welding proficiency in MIG/TIG and other welding methods.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, maintain and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Perform tooling changes, setup and equipment installation as needed.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose problematic systems and determine corrective actions.
• Keep PM records up to date and transfer equipment between projects as needed.
• Lead and train other mechanics in maintenance best practices.
