Qualifications

• Bachelors or higher in mechanical/aerospace engineering with 4+ years in Reliability System Safety.
• Graduate degree with 2+ years in Reliability System Safety or 8+ years without a degree.
• Active US Secret Security Clearance.
• Experience in aerospace/defense reliability analysis, FMECAs and PFMECA, MIL-STD-882E.
• Formal coursework in Reliability Engineering.
• Knowledge of solid rocket motor systems is desired.
• Master’s degree strongly preferred; advanced degrees preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform reliability and safety analyses across a diverse product portfolio
• Develop and maintain reliability and safety models, including FMECAs, reliability predictions, subsystem hazard analyses, and range safety assessments
• Communicate analysis findings effectively to stakeholders
• Provide recommendations to improve product reliability and safety
• Collaborate with engineering teams and program stakeholders to integrate reliability principles into design processes
• Design and implement reliability test plans for new products and processes
• Analyze test anomalies and ensure adherence to quality standards using reliability engineering techniques
• Drive program compliance with Reliability and System Safety procedures and standard work requirements
• Perform Probabilistic Risk Assessments
• Lead fault tree analyses related to product anomalies
• Travel approximately 10%
