Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in West Palm Beach, FL, is seeking a Sr. Specialist, Systems Engineer - Reliability to join the Missile Propulsion SEI team.

You will develop reliability and safety models, perform FMECAs/PFMECA analyses, and drive risk assessments for defense propulsion systems. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with 4+ years in reliability/system safety, or an advanced degree with 2+ years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with 4+ years in reliability/system safety.
• Graduate degree with 2+ years in reliability system safety; or 8+ years in lieu of a degree.
• Active US Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop reliability and safety models including FMECAs and reliability predictions.
• Provide actionable recommendations to improve product reliability and safety.
• Design and implement reliability test plans and analyze anomalies.
• Ensure compliance with Reliability and System Safety procedures and standards.
• Perform Probabilistic Risk Assessments and lead fault tree analyses.
• Travel: 10%.
