Job summary

LP Building Solutions seeks an experienced operations and maintenance leader to drive strategies for OSB, Siding, and related mills. You will lead maintenance, optimize asset reliability, and reduce downtime while collaborating with engineering on upgrades and training.

The role emphasizes RCA/FMEA, spare parts management, and coaching site teams to adopt best practices, with broad cross-site interaction and travel as required.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years in Operations, Engineering or Plant Maintenance for OSB or related wood products.
• 5+ years in log handling, flaking, strand drying, and energy operations in OSB or related wood products.
• Experience with log handling and debarking equipment; wood strand/flake drying equipment; and related machinery.

Responsibilities

• Reduce unplanned downtime in debarking, flaking, screening, and drying systems.
• Develop and implement best maintenance strategies for green end, drying and energy processes.
• Coordinate with suppliers and external resources for training and asset management.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and RCFA/FMEA for downtime events.
• Lead and mentor teams; manage multiple priorities and budgets.
